I noticed tonight my cat Possum was hesitant to jump up and seemed to struggle when this was so easy for her to do, looking at what can be the cause.

Osteoarthritis which can be painful and lead to reluctance to jump, you may notice weight loss, loss of appetite, depression, change in general attitude, poor grooming habits. I checked for injuries, and infections or any inflammatory conditions and tumours.

Arthritis in Cats will notice limping and stiffness, lethargy low energy, weight loss, muscle wastage prominent bones.

Olive oil and cod liver oil can help I gave Possum a cod liver oil tablet straight away.
